What are criteria for overriding a method in Oracle 9i?

In Oracle 9i, overriding methods have the same name and signature in the parent type and subtype. A signature consists of the methodā€™s name and the number, types, and order of the parameters. If the two methods have a different signature, there is no overriding as both methods exist in the subtype.
