Punjab University - Meeting lauds PU VC on HEC ranking

According to a press release, issued by the Punjab University (PU), a high profile meeting of deans, principals, directors, chairmen and heads of departments was held at Al-Raazi Hall of Undergraduate Study Centre here on Tuesday. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over the meeting. The participants of the meeting congratulated Dr Kamran on PU’s 1st position in the HEC ranking of general category universities and lauded his efforts for promotion of research culture in university.

The meeting also expressed pleasure on the historic success of annual 3-day book fair in which 100,616 books were sold and well-managed laptop ceremony, which was also PU’s biggest-ever event. The meeting also discussed challenges faced by the country and university’s academic, administrative and security affairs.
