Public Holidays in Pakistan 2013

According to a notification, issued by the Ministry of Interior, the following is a list of Public holidays for the calendar 2013:

1.*Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12 Rabi-ul-Awal 1434 AH): Thursday, January 24, 2013
2. Kashmir Day: Tuesday, February 5, 2013
3. Pakistan Day: Saturday, March 23, 2013
4. Labour Day: Wednesday, May 5, 2013
5. Independence Day: Wednesday August 14, 2013
6. *Eid-ul-Fitr (1st Shawal 1434 AH): Friday, August 9 & Saturday, August 10 & Sunday August 11, 2013

7. *Eid-ul-Azha (10th Zil Haj 1434 AH): Tuesday, October 15 & Wednesday, October 16, 2013
8. Iqbal Day: Saturday, November 9, 2013
9. *Ashura (9th and 10th Moharrum 1434 AH): Wednesday, November 13 & Thursday, November 14, 2013
10. Quaid-e-Azam Day/ Christmas - December 25, 2013
11. Day after Christmas - Thursday (For Christians Only)
