Oracle DB Error ORA-30037 Cannot perform parallel DML after a prior DML on the object

The following is the cause of this error:

Attempt to perform parallel DML after another DML on the same object in the same transaction.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Use bitmap segments to perform multiple (parallel) DML operations on the same object. Alternatively, commit before issueing the DML.
