Oracle DB Error ORA-28272 Domain policy restricts password based GLOBAL user authentication

The following is the cause of this error:

Domain policy does not allow password-authenticated GLOBAL users.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Make sure ORACLE server is using the correct SSL credentials to connect to LDAP directory services. Make sure orclDBAuthTypes attributes within Oracle enterprise domain object is either set to PWD or ALL.
