Oracle DB Error ORA-25008 no implicit conversion to LOB datatype in instead-of trigger

The following is the cause of this error:

When inserting or updating a view using instead-of trigger, the new value for a LOB view column is of a different datatype.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Specified a LOB value as the new value for the LOB view column.
