Oracle DB Error ORA-24754 cannot start new transaction with an active transaction

The following is the cause of this error:

An attempt to start a new transaction was made when there was an active transaction.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Commit, rollback or detach the existing transaction before starting a new transaction.
