Oracle DB Error ORA-22331 cannot alter an incomplete type

The following is the cause of this error:

An attempt was made to perform ALTER TYPE on an incomplete type.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Use CREATE TYPE to completely define the original type before executing the ALTER TYPE.
