Oracle DB Error ORA-02089 COMMIT is not allowed in a subordinate session

The following is the cause of this error:

COMMIT was issued in a session that is not the two-phase commit global coordinator.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Issue commit at the global coordinator only.
