Oracle DB Error ORA-02018 database link of same name has an open connection

The following is the cause of this error:

The user is currently connected to a PUBLIC database link with the same name as the database link name specified in a CREATE or DROP DATABASE LINK statement.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Close the cursors that use the PUBLIC database link.
