Oracle DB Error ORA-01619 thread string is mounted by another instance

The following is the cause of this error:

The value of the initialization parameter THREAD requests a thread that has been mounted by another instance. Only one instance may use a thread.

Action you can take to resolve this issue: Shut down the instance, change the value of the initialization parameter and restart, mounting a different thread.
