National Defence University (NDU) visits LUMS

According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), as part of their curriculum, the National Defence University brought officers to visit the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on Thursday, February 7, 2012. The visitors were middle and senior representatives from the armed forces and belonged to 18 different counties.

The 35-member contingent was led by Brigadier Zafar who said LUMS is always chosen to show how premium quality education is being offered, in Pakistan, which is at par with any leading international university.

The officers were introduced to LUMS through a presentation given by the Marketing Department and then were taken for a campus tour. At the library, Dr. Ramzan briefed them about the resources hosted. He also informed the visitors about the membership programme of the library as well and its benefits. Gulbano B. Asim, Director Marketing, and Brigadier Zafar exchanged mementoes and Gulbano thanked him for bringing the delegation to LUMS. All further queries of the visitors were answered by the Marketing Team over tea at the Executive Dining Hall (EDH).
