According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the LUMS team secured the first position at the Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Business Plan Competition organized by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in collaboration with the Government of Punjab.
The students representing LUMS were members of the Managerial Society at LUMS, Abdul Rehman Nazar, Abdul Basit Shakir, Rai Zaeem Khan and Shahrukh Tauqir, who delivered a comprehensive business plan “Nutritif Farms” on organic farming of fruits and vegetables and won the competition.
The competition was held at the Chief Minister House and included participants from universities and colleges from all over Lahore. The second and third prizes of the competition went to Lahore College for Women University for their business plan on Dehydrated Egg Powder and the University of Management and Technology for their business plan on Mosquito Repellent, respectively.
