LUMS - Staff Training on Building Beautiful Minds

According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Human Resource Department (HRD) at LUMS organized a training session for staff members on 'Building Beautiful Minds.' The session was held on Friday, November 30, 2012 and was attended by fifteen managerial level employees from the various departments at LUMS.

The training session was delivered by Nasser Aziz, who has an MBA from Yale University, and for the last two decades has been teaching and training at universities and major corporations in Pakistan.

A beautiful mind creates value by focusing on possibilities and challenges in a world of limitations and enables ordinary people to produce extraordinary results. The true wealth of an organization or a nation depends upon the intellectual capabilities of its people. The intellectual capital of an organization or a nation depends upon quantity and quality of its beautiful minds. The purpose of this workshop was to emphasise the importance and urgency of Building Beautiful Minds in schools, colleges, universities and workplaces in order to nurture and sustain the learning environment.
