LUMS - REDC Shows Experts Roadmap to Manufacturing Excellence

According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Rausing Executive Centre (REDC), maintaining the tradition of offering executive programmes bespoke to emerging industrial norms, introduced a programme on ‘Roadmap to Manufacturing Excellence’, recently. Dr. Kamran Ali Chatha directed the programme while the faculty team of Dr. Jamshed Hassan Khan and Dr. Arif Iqbal Rana provided immense support in conducting this innovative offering which comprised more than 60% fresh content. This four day programme was designed to enable participants to systematically cover the various facets of manufacturing functions; ranging from strategic importance and strategy formation, to the complexities of various manufacturing approaches, and creative ways to ensure persistent improvements.

The integration of leading academic thoughts in the realm of manufacturing, and specialist practitioners created a classroom environment that fostered a healthy exchange of ideas based on experiences in different sectors. The participants worked and developed roadmaps for change based on their learning. The programme stood apart from the general norms and provided a very experiential and practically applicable tools and frameworks which the participants developed with facilitation of programme faculty.
