According to a notification, issued by the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), a six day residential program developed by SDSB faculty, Dr. Ehsan-ul-Haque (Programme Director) and Dr. Farrah Arif (Co-programme director) was offered from January 20 - 25, 2013. The program, branded as “Marketing Academy” was attended by thirty-one executives from the Marketing and Business Intelligence divisions of the organization. After a detailed and meticulous learning needs assessment of the client, the program was designed in way that it provided an end-to-end coverage of marketing for telecommunication sector.
The program derived its strength from relevant, real-world and rich teaching content, consisting of global and locally developed cases related to telecommunication industry as well as lectures, group discussions, guest speaker sessions, project work and simulations.
The rigor of the program, and the learning environment created at Rausing Executive Development Centre as the executives discussed, assessed, planned and contemplated marketing strategies inside and outside the class was lauded by all involved.
