Follow these steps:
1. If you're running Windows 7 or Windows Vista, check your dound cards. To do this, click the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then, under System, click Device Manager. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. Double-click Sound, video and game controllers and see if the device is listed or not. If no sound card is listedm install the sound card first.
