How to copy windows error messages?

Follow the steps given below to copy the text of a windows error message, use the CTRL+INSERT keyboard shortcut:

1. After receiving an error message, press and hold down CTRL while you also press INSERT.

2. Open Notepad and Press the Ctrl+V keys (or go to edit menu and click Paste).

Note: The above procedure may not work for non-windows applications.
