Objectives of Zoological Survey of Pakistan

May 20, 2016: According to the information made available to the National Assembly as part of the question & answer session, following are the objectives of Zoological Survey of Pakistan:

1. To obtain information on distribution, population dynamics and status of animal life of Pakistan.
2. To set up and maintain standard zoological collections for reference.
3. To advise government on all zoological matters including conservation, management, export and import of fauna
4. To impart training and create public awareness about animal (fauna) conservation
